Belgium triumphed over Türkiye with a decisive 3-0 victory in the UEFA Nations League match held in Liege on Friday. Kevin De Bruyne played a pivotal role in securing the win by scoring two goals, marking Türkiye’s third consecutive defeat in the tournament.

The match saw Belgium take the lead when De Bruyne successfully exchanged passes with Dodi Lukebakio before striking the ball into the net from the edge of the penalty area. Despite Türkiye’s efforts to find an equalizer, they struggled to capitalize on their chances.

De Bruyne extended Belgium’s lead with a second goal, a curling shot that found the top corner of the net. Later in the game, Romelu Lukaku, who entered as a substitute in the 61st minute, sealed the victory by scoring the third goal. Charles De Ketelaere set up Lukaku with a precise low cross, which he converted from close range.

The defeat leaves Türkiye at the bottom of Group A1, without any points after three matches. Meanwhile, Belgium has accumulated six points, trailing group leaders France by just one point. Türkiye’s next challenge will be against Italy on October 5. However, they will be without Arda Güler and Barış Alper Yılmaz, who are suspended after receiving yellow cards.
